Description: Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an educational framework that supports accessible, inclusive, and effective learning environments for all students. In recent years, the SIUE Students STEM Ambassador Program has gathered data (including specific to SIUE) with the goal of enriching the educational experience of SIUE students and, at the same time, make it more accessible to all. The STEM Ambassador Program is now ready to share with the faculty these findings. In this workshop faculty will discuss and learn the core principles of UDL: practical strategies for designing accessible course materials; approaches to support diverse learning needs in higher education; and tools and resources for immediate classroom implementation.
Space is limited in in-person sessions.
