Computer Engineering
Computer engineering has impacted and shaped the last 50 years more than any other field, and we are still in the midst of the digital revolution and information age. Smart devices, equipped with sensors and communicating over networks, are working together using artificial intelligence and deep learning and are growing at an ever-increasing pace. There is unparalleled demand for computer engineers who understand digital hardware and software interaction and can interface computing technology to other engineering systems.
At SIUE, computer engineering students study the fundamentals, but learn practical hands-on skills in well-equipped modern laboratories for computation, simulation, and measurement.
