31st Annual Prophy Cup Challenge Golf Tournament
On the first Friday in May - as is tradition - the SIU SDM School of Dental Medicine hosted our 31st Annual Prophy Cup Challenge Golf Tournament. We enjoyed a beautiful day on a magnificent golf course. SIU SDM alumni and faculty, students and residents, staff and friends all played a round of golf in support of a worthwhile cause. All proceeds will once again support SIU SDM faculty recruitment and retention efforts.
A strong faculty is at the core of our ability to educate our dental students and help them become some of the best practitioners of dentistry throughout the country. To ensure that our students continue to reach their full potential and are fully prepared for a successful career in the profession of dentistry, we must continue to find innovative ways to attract and retain inspirational faculty members. In short, we must continue to pursue outstanding faculty with the knowledge, skills, and passion to motivate and engage our outstanding students.
