Professor Tiana Clark’s poetry collection, I Can’t Talk About the Trees Without the Blood, has been selected as one of five finalists for the 2020 Kate Tufts Discovery Award. This prestigious award, administered by Claremont Graduate University (CGU), was established to honor a first book by a poet of promise. The Kate Tufts Discovery Award provides the recipient with $10,000. The winners will be announced in late February; an awards ceremony and public reading in April will be held on the CGU campus.
