Research interests: Primarily, I am a scholar of writing and rhetoric. Specifically, my research interests are qualitative research practices about writing, and writing across/within/between disciplines and grade-levels. At present, I am most interested in thinking about vertical writing curriculum that spans middle and high schools into college and beyond and permeates all disciplines. In addition, I also write about academic administration, including writing program administration.
