Scott Borror has over 15 years of experience working in the public sector as a local government finance professional, currently as the Director of Finance for the Village of Glen Carbon.Previous employment stints included the City of Fairview Heights and the City of Highland, where he was the administrator of Highland’s nationally recognized work in performance management. His work with public budgets has been recognized by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and the International City/County Managers Association (ICMA). His duties have also included key roles in economic development, debt management, and strategic planning.
Scott is a Past President of the Illinois Municipal Treasurers Association (IMTA) and active member in the GFOA. He earned a MBA from McKendree University (Lebanon, IL) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from Rider University (Lawrenceville, NJ).
