Coursework completed at regionally accredited institutions will be evaluated upon admission to the University. Results of transfer credit evaluations are available to students through CougarNet. Up to 12 hours of credit from regionally accredited universities will count toward the political science major. Of those, up to 3 credit hours can be either POLS 200 or POLS 300, but not both. No internships, independent studies, or directed readings taken at other institutions will count for credit toward the political science major. In addition, no student can fulfill the Senior Assignment requirement with work done at another university.
