The collection includes 1657 selections of orchestral mood music for silent films, arranged by descriptive subjects. Also 125 recordings of Armed Services radio programs. Donated to the library in 1968 by Elmer Booker, of Greenville, Illinois, brother of Ralph Livingston Booker (July 26, 1892 - January 19, 1968), the original owner. A descriptive catalogue is included.
