In her own words, Dr. Lubsch tells her story this way:

  • Why I joined SIUE: I grew up in St. Louis and remember the incredible buzz and excitement surrounding the opening of the new pharmacy school across the river. I wanted to be part of those possibilities. I’m forever grateful to Dean Mark Luer for taking a chance on me back then, I was new to recovery and had to come home.
  • SIUE Impact: Now, 21 years sober and working with the best colleagues, I can honestly say that being a faculty member here has been lifesaving.
  • What I’m most proud of: 1. Our Alumni: Specifically, our pediatric pharmacy alumni. I’m looking forward to seeing many of them soon in Arlington at the Pediatric Pharmacy Association (PPA) meeting! 2. My Team: The high-level, dedicated care my team provides to individuals with Cystic Fibrosis.
