The Music Listening Room is located on the first floor of Lovejoy Library. Available are music and audio books, scores, and recordings, including approximately 7,700 compact discs. Stereophonic turntables, cassette players, and compact disc players enable patrons to listen to LP records, cassette tapes, and CDs in the Music Listening Room. Three Casio electronic keyboards with headsets are also available. Reference and research assistance is provided to the National Ragtime and Jazz Archive and the Music Special Collections from this unit. The Music Listening Room provides an attractive area for music study and enjoyment at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. |
