The Kimmel Leadership Center is the focal point of student involvement and campus life at SIUE. Students interested in getting involved may wish to participate in the Campus Activities Board, Greek Life, the Student Leadership Development Program, Student Government, Volunteerism, or more than 200 student organizations. Co-curricular experiences promote personal growth, develop your self-confidence and leadership abilities, and prepare you for life-long learning. The Kimmel Leadership Center staff assist students with planning and coordinating programs that promote the educational, cultural, and social enrichment of the University community. These events and programs include Welcome Week, Homecoming, Family Weekend, Black Heritage Month, International Night, Springfest, and Activities Fairs.
The Kimmel Leadership Center offers a variety of student activities and leadership opportunities to assist in the personal and professional development of all students. These out of the classroom experiences are an important part of your education and will help with your academic and professional development. Employers recognize the importance of leadership and campus involvement. They will seek out students who not only exceed academically, but who are also involved in professional organization, community service projects, leisure activities, and campus leadership.
Whether you are interested in campus entertainment, educational lectures, serving on a campus-wide committee, or representing your fellow students, stop by the Kimmel Leadership Center to get involved. You'll be glad you did!
