Qi Wanxue

Qi Wanxue is Professor and Vice President of Shandong Normal University. He received his doctorate in education from Nanjing Normal University and has worked at SDNU since 1987, serving as associate chairperson of its education department, and vice president since 2000. A leading scholar of SDNU’s nationally designated key program Educational Theory, Dr. Qi is associate director of the moral education group under the National Educational Science Development Committee. His research is focused on issues in philosophy of education and moral education. He is the author of more than ten books and numerous articles published in journals including Journal of Moral Education (UK) and Educational Research (China). Dr. Qi is among the first group of scholars rewarded by Shandong provincial government for their “outstanding contributions” and is a member of the national talent reserve project: “New Century 100, 1000, and 10,000”.
