Daniel (Daan) Brugman

Daniel Brugman studied psychology at the universities in Groningen and Leiden in The Netherlands. In 1989 he was appointed assistant professor in developmental psychology at Utrecht University and in 2007 full professor in developmental psychological aspects of interventions in youth care. His main interest is in the meaning, measurement and conditions of sociomoral functioning of children and adolescents in schools and residential settings. He has (co-) authored many articles in international and national journals and books and was editor of two books on moral development and education.
