TOPIC PRESENTAIONS AND REPORTS:

The scheduled presentations for Construction 452 will begin during the 5th week of classes. Each presentation will be allotted the Thursday session. Each team will be responsible for planning the activities of this time. Normally, the presentation should average about 30 minutes with a class participation seminar to follow for approximately 30 minutes. Presenters can utilize visual aids, guest speakers, etc. If in doubt about the procedure you plan to use, check with the instructor.

The presentation and report will count toward 25% of your final grade. Grading will be based on 4 major areas: research, content, organization, and presentation. Some recommended sources of information and assistance include: Southern Illinois Builders (SIBA), St. Louis AGC, Construction Industry Institute (CII) publications, SIUE Library including the Online Databases and Documents section on the 3rd floor, various construction firms in the Metro and St. Louis area.
