Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.  The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position at the assistant professor level starting in August 2014.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in electrical or computer engineering, or must be nearing completion of such a degree.  They must also have a commitment to excellence in teaching, and a demonstrated ability for innovative research and scholarly activity.  Preference will be given to candidates with specialization in data networks and protocols, VLSI, and mixed-signal circuits.  The successful applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses as well as conduct research in areas related to network engineering and integrated circuit design.
