Contacts Presentation

Originally, I had set up the contacts page so I could list emails of people in the family so we could contact each other. However, several issues came up from various sources.

First, my Mac tutor suggested I not list email addresses at all on the site. She said that companies have programs that search websites for email addresses to use for sending spam. If I use a link to an email the program is not able to locate the address. As a result, I removed the email addresses and only used my own through a link. Although this negates the users ability to contact someone in the family I feel like their email address is better protected.

Second, the peer reviews revealed that there was confusion about who the contact person/web site developer actually is and who should be contacted with questions or concerns. This makes a lot of sense considering the conventional function of a contact page. This reinforced my decision to remove the email addresses that were not my own in order to avoid confusion.

I would still like a way for family members to email each other or contact each other in another way.
