| Purpose: | This course is to introduce the concepts of concrete design and how it impacts on construction. The students also are exposed to formwork design. |
|
|
|
| Objective: | Concrete is a major building material in construction. This course exposes the student to the design basics of concrete and shows them how design impacts on the constructibility of a structure. Formwork is normally the responsibility of the contractor, and is a major concern of concrete construction. This course thus places special emphasis on this topic. |

| Note: | You must have completed CE 242 for this class. |
