Newsletter Article: This article was written for the Speech Communication Department's Semester newsletter. It was written for the Alumni News Section.
Brochure: This was an assignment to take the previous brochure from the United Congregations of Metro-East (UCM) and update it.
News Release: The assignment was to pick an organization of our choice and write a news release for them. I chose American Cancer Society-Colleges Against Cancer. It is a student organization on the SIUE campus.
Media Advisory: The media advisory assignment was to be created using the organization and event of our choice.
Pitch Letter: The pitch letter assignment was to be created using the organization and subject of our choice.
Feature Story: The feature story assignment was to be created using the organization and subject of our choice.
PSA: The PSA assignment was supposed to be 30 second PSA about an upcoming Arts & Issues event on campus.
Publication Samples
Newsletter: The assignment was to create a design for the Speech Communication newsletter. We had to create the name of the newsletter, the logo, and layout.
Brochure: This assignment was partnered with the above brochure writing sample. We were to design an updated version of UCM's brochure. The client wanted us to create a new logo.
Alumni Invitation #1: I created this invite for my internship with Alumni Affairs. It was sent to alumni, inviting them to a basketball game and pre-game reception.
Student Organization Invitation: This invitation was for my internship with Alumni Affairs. It is an invite distributed to the student organizations on campus, inviting them to the Second Annual Alumni Trivia Night.
Alumni Invitation #2: I designed this invite for my internship with Alumni Affairs. It was sent to alumni, inviting them to SIUE's Dance in Concert and pre-performance reception.
Logo: As University Dance Organization's PR, I was asked to design a new, modern logo. They wanted something simple, but still represented what the organization is. I used Photoshop and InDesign to create the logo.
