Discussion Lists
Messages can be distributed to a group of users who are interested in a particular topic if they sign up to receive the information.
The reader can choose when or if they read the messages.
Discussion list are very effective in business and educational settings.
An example of this would be a group of people that use a particular software program. Users would receive update information from the vendor and then be able to ask questions of the vendor. Other users can also be consulted to learn how something was implemented in another setting.
