            This link will is a “comparison chart of e-book and digital talking book (DTB) hardware and software” (Beyond the Text). This link will have the name of the e-book or DTB, the cost, the OS, the format, images/multimedia support, and helpful facts about the product.

 

E-Mail Usage

This link will teach you about Softalk Mail Server. “Softalk Mail Server is an easy to use, Windows-based, business class mail server, which can provide any size organization with secure and dependable messaging” (Softalk ).

 

Search Engines

This link will is the Google search engine. This search engine allows you to search for websites, images, videos, maps and so much more. The search engine goes through millions of websites to try to narrow your search. You type in key words or topics and Google gives you lists of websites that are about those topics. Google has many other links that are useful links that help narrow your search. For example if you wanted to search for books you can use the Google book search or if you wanted to search patents you can use the Google patent search.

 

Computer Ethics

            This link gives the reader information about computer ethics. “Computer ethics is a new branch of ethics that is growing and changing rapidly as computer technology also grows and develops… It is possible to construe computer ethics in a very broad way to include, as well, standards of professional practice, codes of conduct, aspects of computer law, public policy, corporate ethics--even certain topics in the sociology and psychology of computing” (Computer Ethics: Basic Concepts and Historical Overview). On this website it gives historical milestones dealing with computer ethics, defines fields in computer ethics, and topics dealing with computer ethics (computers in the workplace, computer crimes, privacy and globalization). This is a very good informational website.
