Pilansburg

Pilansburg is a private game park a few hours’ drive north of Pretoria. We were only there for three hours and we managed to see quite a range of animals—from small to large.

		The smallest was the dung beetle. He was busy rolling his ball of dung across the road. He moved so quickly, I almost missed shooting him.
	The largest was the elephant. We encountered a herd of them just inside the park gate.
