David Shimkus is a M.S. Computer Science graduate from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

He is currently full-time employed for Ameren Services working in smart metering DevOps as a Software Engineer.

Interests beyond smart meters include: quantum computing, connectomes, graphics, music, theology, and Old School RuneScape.
