Welcome!

This is the Website of gaming enthusiast Christopher Knight aka: KN1GH7IM3. P.R. student who loves video games, and anime. Otaku! I have learned a lot this past semester and the the best way for me to describe what I learned this semester is by way of gift through a mneumonic device. I received a stress ball from Professor Howar who challenged me to name the stress ball and tell her what I learned this past semester.

PPrepare! Public relations is helping me prepare for a job in the world that I want. I’ve come to realize that this degree is all about relationships. There is no better way of getting to know someone outside of fostering a relationship.
IIgnite! I realized that I had to be my own kick starter if I wanted things to go my way. No more sitting on my lazy bum waiting for situations to happen. I have to create the opportunity myself. This starts by taking responsibility.
KKnight! This is my last name but it means something: Nobility. In terms of rank I must put myself first if I want to be successful. I mean sell my image and be genuine.
AAssess! Public Relations professionals must have a skill for analyzing any given situations with a client or organization. This is a skill that I am still working on, but I realize there is more to it than presentations.
CCommit! This field requires a certain level of dedication that I myself struggle with at times. I’ve seen the pay-off for others who have committed themselves to hard work. I know that can be me.
HHeal! After a crisis situation is over, the healing process takes place. Like when two sides can’t agree on an issue and altercations ensues. One is the victor, the other is licking wounds and waiting for time to heal all things. This too could be said for re-establishing the relationship between a client and their publics.
UUnique! I’m going to be myself and not try to emulate others. I know employers will appreciate this and if Public Relations has taught me one thing it is to be true to your own code of ethics.
