The reason I chose Mr. Fines is because he is a very prominent lawyer in my hometown. Although I never have personally met him all I hear is about his great success he has brought to himself. Mr. Fines heads a very nice law firm, and is one of the most successful lawyers in the area. |

Dear Mr. Fines; My name is Adam Sims and I am a freshman at SIUe. I plan to get a finance degree in four years and then attend law school. I was wondering if you could take a few minutes to answer a couple of questions. First, I was wondering the degree you received before you went to law school? Second, I was wondering if you were satisfied with the degree you received or if you wished you would have got a different one that would benefit yourself more today? Lastly, what type of law are you most interested in? These are a few questions that could benefit me if you could please respond. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Adam Sims |

October 31, 2007 Dear Adam: I wanted to reply to your request for information you
sent to me. First of all, I attended
the University of Illinois College of Law to obtain my law degree. I graduated and came back to Taylorville to
practice law with Hershey, Beavers & Graham. I always had a desire to practice law in my
hometown and help people that I have known all my life. I wouldn’t trade my law degree for any
other. I have thoroughly enjoyed the
practice of law and continue to enjoy it every day. My law practice consists of a variety of things. I represent the City of I enjoy working in a small town and with people I have
known all my life. I guess the part of
law that I enjoy most is helping people who have been injured or treated
wrongly get justice. Let me know if I can assist you further. Sincerely, David R. Fines Attorney at Law |
