Volunteer Public Relations

Aside from founding and operating my own organization, there are several other oppertunities that have allowed me to get my feet wet in the public relations field.

Beginning in September 2009, I have volunteered public relations help for Silver Creek Assisted Living and Marka Nursing Home.

Among the responsibilities listed on my resume, I am affiliating the two organizations by building and maintaining relationships between residents and staff, as well as the organizations and the surrounding community.

PRSSA

I am also an active member of PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) SIUE chapter. This provides me the oppertunity to recieve advice and insight from public relations professionals practicing in non profit, corporation, and agency fields.

PRSSA members also assist fellow campus organizations with thier public relations needs.
