Hobbies: Music, Dance,
When it comes to
music, I am a very wide ranged person. I
usually listen to rock and metal, but every now and then I change it up. Music is an important part of my life. I have been playing the piano for about four years,
and I have sang in the choir for about ten years; all through middle, high
school and my first year of college. At
one point in time I used to dance, until an unfortunate accident causing an
injury. I also love to read. My favorite books are the Harry Potter
collection and the Bond Of collection by Diane Whiteside.
Favorite Colors:
Black, Purple, Orange
Black is my
favorite color because it is mysterious, scary and a little intimidating. Purple because it was one of my high school
colors, and orange because it is really random and an odd color, if you really
think about it.
Occupation: Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, Child Care
Provider
I have been a member of the YMCA since before I even
remember, so the odds were pretty good that I would become a member of the
staff. I started out at the age of 12 as
a volunteer. From 12 until I was 15, I
was a volunteer. During my three years,
I acquired over a thousand hours of volunteer service. I founded the
Intended Major: Elementary Education, Emphasis in Science
For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to
become a teacher, so here I am trying to fulfill a lifelong dream.
Favorite things to
do: play the piano, sing, play with my dog, hang out with my friends, and work
out.
My instruments of choice are the piano and my voice. My dog is probably a big part of my life, she
is the one person that I can talk to that will just listen and not judge
me. Although I lead a very hectic life,
I try to find the time to hang out with my friends. They are kind of my vacation away from
home. Exercise is a big part of my life,
my boss and I have that relationship that we are good friends and love to work
out together.
Most important to me: My family is my number one thing in
my life, without them, I wouldn’t know what to do.
My family is my support system. They are always there when I need them,
whether it’s just to listen or to give advice.
My family has always been behind me and every decision that I have made,
and I hope that they continue to.
