are giving a press conference on Shostakovich's memoirs, Testimony,
and on the recently published Shostakovich Reconsidered (Toccata Press).
Maestro Ashkenazy, Solomon Volkov (editor of the Shostakovich memoirs, Testimony),
and Dmitry Feofanov and Allan Ho (author-editors of Shostakovich Reconsidered)
will be discussing Shostakovich, Testimony and "the Testimony controversy";
their presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

This is the first time that Vladimir Ashkenazy and Solomon Volkov have shared a platform,
and one of Solomon Volkov's very rare public appearances to discuss the writing of Testimony.
Professor Ho and Dmitry Feofanov spent six years researching and writing Shostakovich Reconsidered.
Such a gathering of Shostakovich expertise is very rare and promises a fascinating morning's discussion.
