A native of East St. Louis, Ill., Rachel joins SIUE with a passion for helping others. She graduated cum laude from Lincoln University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a minor in sociology. While at Lincoln University, she was on the cheerleading team, worked at the campus library, and joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Rachel has worked in social/human services for seven years as an employment specialist helping teenagers who struggled with substance abuse and as a job coach for clients with disabilities.
Hobbies
Rachel enjoys traveling, going to the movies, writing poetry, attending open mic events, listening to music, going out to eat, and spending time with family and friends.
