Jazzmine is a proud Chicago native from the North Lawndale neighborhood. She earned a bachelor's in sociology and anthropology with a minor in communication studies from Monmouth College in 2020. She is a first-generation college graduate with a passion for working with diverse students.
Throughout her college career, Jazzmine was heavily involved on campus and held the positions of president and vice president for the Black Student Union and Student Government. She was also a resident assistant, chairperson for the campus activities organization and worked at the campus library. She also studied abroad in Tanzania for a semester during her junior year, which sparked her interest in higher education. She encourages all students to take advantage of study abroad opportunities while in college.
