Fannie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Business Management from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a Master of Arts in Education degree from McKendree University. After working in both the corporate world and secondary education, she decided to further her education and will complete her Master of Science in Education degree in College Student Personnel Administration at SIUE in May 2017.
Fannie has a passion for mentoring and helping others succeed which is why in January 2016, she was excited to join the Office of Admissions’ Team. As an Admissions Counselor, she advises prospective students, assists students and their families with the admission process, visits high schools, attends college fairs, contributes to special programming, and assists with other assignments as needed. Fannie is a member of the Missouri Association of College Admissions Counselors where she serves on the Inclusion, Access, and Success Committee.
Hobbies
Fannie enjoys family movie nights, concerts, plays, and social gatherings with members of her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
