Morning Activities
Check-in and Student Resource Fair

Learn about resources available to help you become a successful SIUE student. Gather information, explore, and ask questions. Department representatives will be available in their offices after the resource fair until 4:30 p.m.
Early Bird Campus and Housing Tours
Departs from the Campus Tour table next to Starbucks in the Goshen Lounge, MUC
A limited number of walking tours of campus and housing leave at 8:05 a.m. Tickets are required. Get your ticket at check-in. Additional tours will be offered beginning at 12:30 p.m.
The Time is Now: Choose SIUE

Join us for coffee and conversation as current students reflect on their experience at SIUE, why they attended the University, and what they wish they knew when they were making their college decision. Then, hear from staff about the next steps and making the most of Admitted Student Day.

Students and their guests will split for the remainder of the morning’s activities.
SIUE Academic Experience | Students Only
Immerse yourself in the classroom experience at SIUE by attending a couple of sessions related to their majors and interests. Select one session from Block #1 (10:20-11:05 a.m.) and one from Block #2 (11:20 a.m.-12:05 p.m.) that sound interesting to you. A detailed list of academic experiences will be shared at the event.
Your Student at SIUE | Family and Guests Sessions
Learn about SIUE’s culture of care and student support from the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Miriam Roccia, the Career Development Center, and others from the Division of Student Affairs. Hear how SIUE supports students’ safety, wellness, and belonging from University experts during a special Q&A. A detailed agenda is on the reverse side of this page.

Take a Tour (or Two or Three)
- Campus Tours: 12:30-3 p.m., every 30 minutes, Meet at the Campus Tours table by Starbucks in the MUC.
- First-Year Housing Tours: 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m., Meet at the Housing table in the Goshen Lounge, MUC.
- Cougar Village Tours: 2-4 p.m., Meet at The Commons, 500 Cougar Lake Drive. Parking is available.
- Lovejoy Library Tours: 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., Meet at the Information Desk on the first floor of the library.
- Student Fitness Center: 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., Meet at the Student Fitness Center visitor desk.
In My Roomie Era

Honors at SIUE: Explore the Opportunity

Learn about our distinctive curriculum, supportive community, research opportunities, and personalized academic support. Current honors students will share how the program has shaped their college experience. We’ll walk you through the steps to become part of the program.
Summer Success Program
2-2:30 p.m., Hickory/Hackberry, 2nd floor, Morris University Center
Students who participate in this five-week residential experience (July 5-August 7) will earn six credit hours toward graduation, stay on campus, connect with peers in their incoming class, and explore various campus resources. And the best part? It’s absolutely FREE!
