The SIUE Staff Senate invited all employees to a Q&A session with Keith Becherer, past president of the SIUE Staff Senate and current legislative co-chair of the State Universities Annuitants Association (SUAA). Becherer and SUAA Lobbyist Thomas Martin, in Springfield, provided updates on legislation being tracked in the 104th General Assembly related to higher education, pensions, and health care benefits.
