About the CampaignSince its first residence hall was constructed in 1994, SIUE has witnessed strong growth in the number of students interested in living on campus and in overall student enrollment. With enrollment growth, more students are demanding many more academic and student life services that help them stay on pace toward graduation and get involved in campus organizations. The Student Success Center is SIUE's unique approach to helping students achieve their academic goals while developing a variety of experiences that will complement their college degree. The Center houses an integrated and comprehensive array of academic and support services for SIUE students. The newly constructed Student Success Center will meet the academic and personal requirements of students by bringing together, in one central location, a full collection of support services from academic advising and instructional services to counseling and international programs. To meet the requirements of a highly motivated student body, SIUE must supplement coursework with outstanding co-curricular opportunities for involvement in the community and development of leadership potential. Those offerings will benefit students by providing an engaged education that lays a solid foundation for future success in life and greater contributions to the region.
