Community Outreach
Student employment doesn't stop at the edge of campus. Through our community outreach efforts, SIUE connects students with meaningful off-campus work in the surrounding area — helping students earn, grow, and build experience while strengthening the communities that make up the SIUE region.
For Students
Off-campus employment is a chance to gain real-world experience, build your résumé, and connect with employers throughout the metro-east area, all while earning money toward your education. Opportunities posted through Cougar Jobline are open to eligible students looking for part-time work that fits around their classes.

For Community Partners
Local employers and nonprofit organizations are an essential part of our students' growth. Partnering with SIUE Student Employment connects your organization with a motivated pool of student talent and supports students as they develop professionally. We welcome employers who want to offer part-time roles that work with students' academic schedules.
