Influence through Philanthropic Projects
Water.org
Epsilon Eta Chapter contributes to fund a sand well in Kenya through contributions from Dine to Donate events as well as personal donations. Funds collected for over 10 years are helping to provide water to those who need it most. The chapter contributes through water.org, an organization committed to breaking the cycle of poverty, achieve global equality and make a bright future for all people. Consider donating on your own, or starting a fundraiser on the website.
Latino Roundtable
Each year the chapter participates in the Annual Easter Egg Hunt for the Fairmont City, IL Latino Roundtable. Additionally, you will find boxes for school supplies through the School of Nursing as part of our desire to support children with their grade school needs.
Vitamins for Haiti
Epsilon Eta Chapter STTI supported the work of Dr. Valerie Griffin and Family Nurse Practitioner Students who travelled to Haiti for a medical mission trip.
“Thank you so much for the donation. We were able to provide every child encountered with a 1-2 month supply of vitamins. We left the remainder of the vitamins with our missionary host to continue distributing to the children in the village of Saint -Marc. These vitamins were desperately needed as malnourishment is common. Thank you again!” - Dr. Valerie Griffin FNP team leader
