SIUE Marketing and Communications is calling for student entries to redesign the University Seal.
University seals have long symbolized the tradition and excellence, representing an academic institution's rich history and values. As we embrace our future, the newest SIUE seal should reflect our vibrant spirit and dynamic community.
Design
Your university seal design should include:
- SIUE's Founding Year (1957)
- Your interpretation of SIUE's 4 campuses: Alton, Belleville, East St. Louis and Edwardsville.
- University branded fonts and colors.
Your university seal design may include:
- Elements that reflect SIUE's history, architecture, surrounding nature and scholarly atmosphere.

Scholarship
The winning entrant will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
Submission
Submit your design as a high-resolution image (JPEG or .PNG) along with a brief description (limit of 250 words) explaining the inspiration behind your design.
