We listened and changed our format again. You wanted news at a glance, and you got it! The webpage will stay as the place for you to get the full story, but the email should be as brief as we can make it.

- Honors Student Association
From the Director
- Beautiful speech from 5/10 Honors Graduate Celebratory Breakfast.
The Last Hoorah!
- A final request for grads before you go: please update your plans and contact information here. Your siue.edu email address is going away soon, and things still need to be mailed to you.
This Week in Honors
- Construction has well and truly begun with the framing of the glass along the lightwell. The area has been blocked off with a semi-translucent plastic, and the air smells faintly of the lumber used for the supports. We've known it's coming for a while, but it's a whole other thing to have it here and real and screaming in your ear as they saw through concrete. Regardless, we're loving it. Just maybe not from thirty feet away.
- With that in mind, we may not be in the office physically on noisy weeks. If you're looking for us, and the offices are empty, worry not! We have not abandoned you. We're working from home. Please email or call as normal, and we'll get you taken care of.
Service Updates
- We're still requesting students interested in helping with the onboarding events for new freshmens sign up to indicate interest. These events will all be the week before classes start. Benefits include early move-in, fancy t-shirts, and meeting our new crop of awesome students! Sign up here!
