Explore Day

The SIUE School of Nursing invites you to our annual Explore Day on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 8 a.m.-noon. This event is for prospective students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Online registration is now closed. If you still wish to attend, please plan to register on-site in the Meridian Ballroom on the first floor of the Morris University Center. Free parking is available in Visitor Parking Lot B. For a complete campus map and driving directions to campus, visit siue.edu/maps.
Explore Day Activities
- Check-in begins at 8 a.m. in the Morris University Center (MUC) followed by a welcome and orientation session in the MUC Meridian Ballroom for all students.
- Exhibits and additional School of Nursing sessions will take place in the MUC beginning at 10 a.m. You will have the opportunity to attend sessions about our nursing programs, visit the School of Nursing's Simulated Learning Center for Health Sciences, learn about our student organizations, and visit with administrators, faculty, advisors, students, financial aid counselors, and more.
- School of Nursing advisors will be available during the event sessions beginning at 10 a.m. Please note: Advisors will be available for general questions only. Individual advisement, transcript evaluation, and registration for Spring 2020 will not be part of this event. You can schedule in-person or phone appointments for another day by contacting the School of Nursing at 618-650-3956.
- Free parking will be available in Visitor Lot B (next to the Morris University Center).
- For your comfort, it is recommended to dress in layers, as the temperature inside and outside may vary widely.
- Please wear comfortable shoes as tours will be walking tours.
- Child care will not be provided and children under 12 should not be left unsupervised. Due to space limitations, please do not bring strollers.
