SIUE is a top-ranked, nationally recognized university that offers one of the lowest tuition rates and required fees of all four-year institutions in Illinois (in-state tuition is available to undergraduate students from all 50 states).
But, we have something other schools don’t. Our campus sits on 2,660 acres of forested woodland atop the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River bottom land. Students tell us they knew on their first visit that SIUE would be their new home.
Edwardsville is located just 25 minutes from St. Louis, which offers numerous cultural and entertainment options, as well as access to internships, cooperative education opportunities, and full-time employment with major corporations like The Boeing Company, Anheuser-Busch, Edward Jones, Express Scripts and BJC HealthCare. In fact, 627 students earned $3.3 million at co-ops and internships last year.
