Congratulations on being selected as a Meridian Scholarship finalist. We're so glad you're considering SIUE! 

During Meridian Scholars Day, we announced that 20 students will receive the Meridian Scholarship and all candidates who interviewed will receive the Provost Scholarship.

The Provost Scholarship can be used for any eight (8) semesters of undergraduate tuition and will supersede any previous merit aid granted by SIUE. Students may also use this scholarship toward one semester of a study abroad program provided the program is affiliated with SIUE. 

Since you were invited to attend Meridian Scholars Day, you are automatically admitted to the University Honors Program. Students in the Honors Program have access to many benefits, including a specialized general education curriculum, the opportunity to live in the Honors Focused Interest Community and priority registration. If you choose to accept your spot in the program, no further action is required. If you choose not to participate in the University Honors Program, please email SIUEHonors@siue.edu. 

All students who participated in Meridian Scholars Day will be notified of their scholarship status via mail by the end of February. Official scholarship terms and conditions will be shared at that time.
