The SIUE School of Nursing offers direct entry to the traditional nursing program for newly admitted freshmen who meet the following criteria:
- SAT score of 1130 or higher (ERW + M)
or
- ACT score of 23 or higher
To remain eligible, students must:
- Complete freshman-level prerequisite coursework with a grade of C or better
- Maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher in all college-level coursework
Students who meet this criteria will enter the traditional nursing program during their sophomore year. In addition to program consideration, SIUE will award scholarships upon admission.
