2018-2019 Additional Financial Aid Information Request

Additional information is necessary before federal financial aid can be offered to you for the 2018-2019 academic year. Failure to complete these requirements will delay payment of your financial aid. 

Please follow the instructions below to view a list of required documents: 

• Visit CougarNet.
• Click on Enter CougarNet with your e-ID or Enter CougarNet with your University ID. 
• On the Main Menu page, click Financial Aid. 
• In the Financial Aid menu, click Eligibility. 
• Click Award Year 2018-2019 in the drop-down box and click Submit. 
• Current academic year Student Requirements will be on the screen. 
• Established means the document must be turned in to the financial aid office immediately! 

Click here to download any necessary forms. 

• Completed forms for 2018-2019 may be submitted to the financial aid office via mail, fax, email or in-person. An after-hours drop box is available. 
• Please include your University ID on all submitted documents. 

In order to expedite processing for information submitted via email, please send in the following format: 

• Submit as a PDF, with multiple pages in one document if possible. PDF file should be sent as an attachment. 
• All images should be clear and legible. 

Please note: Federal tax forms 1040/1040A/1040EZ are not acceptable. 

Please respond to this request as soon as possible. Continue to monitor your CougarNet account and SIUE email for additional requirements or an award letter notification, and contact us if you have any questions.
