Madison County Community Development Scholarship

Please consider applying for the Madison County Community Development Scholarship if you meet the following criteria: 

• Madison county resident
• Meet the poverty level guidelines (available in the application materials)
• Are a student of high academic attainment or potential. 

To apply, submit a packet that includes the following information: 

• Madison County Community Development Scholarship application
• A copy of college transcripts or high school transcripts if you are an incoming freshman
• One letter of recommendation from a high school or college official (must be submitted on official letterhead)
• A one page essay describing yourself, your college plans and career goals (examples are provided in the application information)
• Verification documents, including check stubs, printouts or statements for all household members over 18 years old
• If you are a previous recipient, you must have a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Packets should be submitted by June 8, 2018 to Kathy Belden, Rendleman Hall 2221.
