Loan Cancellation Notice

Dear $SUBSCRIBER.FIRSTNAME,

You are receiving this email because your Direct Subsidized and/or Direct Unsubsidized Federal Student Loan(s) have been cancelled. 

To receive either type of loan, you must be enrolled at least half time at a school that participates in the Direct Loan Program. Generally, you must also be enrolled in a program that leads to a degree or certificate awarded by the school. 

• Direct Subsidized Loans are available only to undergraduate students who have financial need. 
• Direct Unsubsidized Loans are available to undergraduate, graduate or professional degree students. 

You are not required to show financial need to receive a Direct Unsubsidized Loan. 

Your loan(s) have been cancelled due to one of the following reasons: 

• Dropped below half-time enrollment 
  • Undergraduate: Less than six hours
  • Graduate: Less than five hours
• Did not attend the fall 2019 semester

If you plan to enroll for the spring 2020 semester and wish to have your loan(s) reinstated, please stop by the Office of Student Financial Aid to complete a loan revision.
