Spring 2020 Pass/No Credit Option

Dear $SUBSCRIBER.FIRSTNAME,

The University has made temporary changes to the Pass/No Credit academic policy for the Spring 2020 semester. Per the change, you may have the opportunity to convert your letter grade into a Pass/No Credit option for undergraduate courses for the full term (16 weeks) or the second eight-week part of term.

It is essential that you understand the potential short and long term implications of choosing to elect the Pass/No Credit grade. We encourage you to review the Pass/No Credit webpage. This page includes important information to consider before making your choice, including impact on financial aid eligibility. You should reach out to your academic advisor with any questions, to support you in making an informed decision. Once you have confirmed your choice and understand that it is irreversible, you may formally submit your request as follows:

• Login to CougarNet 
• Select Student and then click on Pass/No Credit
• For each class displayed, use the drop down to select either "Retain Existing Grade" or "Request Pass/No Credit"
• Once a selection has been made for all displayed classes, click Submit
• A final confirmation message is displayed, "By selecting OK you are confirming that you have considered the consequences of your choice, consulted with an advisor and understand that the decision is final and my not be revoked." Select OK or Cancel

Your request will not be submitted to the Office of the Registrar for processing until your advisor has approved the request. You will be notified when the request has been processed.
