You made a fantastic decision in choosing to attend SIUE!
Students attending Winter Welcome can submit a photo online so that your Cougar ID card can be processed prior to your arrival on campus. In addition to being your official identification while attending SIUE, the Cougar Card serves as your access to your residence hall, your meal plan, library facilities, the Student Fitness Center, vending, printing, copying, and a variety of other functions. Every student must have a Cougar Card.
Uploaded photos must adhere to the following guidelines:
- 300x300 pixels in .jpg or .jpeg format
- Color
- Student only
- Background should be plain and single color
- No props, hats, sunglasses, or exaggerated facial expressions
- No Snapchat filters
- Photo should be from the shoulders up
All photos are subject to approval.
Visit the Cougar Card website to upload your photo.
Please submit your photo no later than a day prior to Winter Welcome. We'll need one business day to process your photo. Check your SIUE email account to make sure your photo was accepted.
By uploading your photo, you get to choose what is displayed on your Cougar Card. You will receive your card at Winter Welcome. Please bring a driver's license, state ID card, or passport to verify your identity.
