You made a fantastic decision in choosing SIUE!
Students attending Springboard to Success must submit a photo online so your Cougar Card can be processed prior to your arrival on campus. In addition to being your official identification while attending SIUE, the Cougar Card serves as your access to your residence hall, your meal plan, library facilities, the Student Fitness Center, vending, printing, copying, and a variety of other functions. Every student must have a Cougar Card.
Uploaded photos must adhere to the following guidelines:
- 300x300 pixels in .jpg or .jpeg format
- Color
- Student only
- Background should be plain and single color
- No props, hats, sunglasses, or exaggerated facial expressions
- No Snapchat filters
- Photo should be from the shoulders up
All photos are subject to approval.
Visit the Cougar Card website to upload your photo.
- Go to Photo Submission (this will take you to the GET website)
- If prompted to set up a profile, use your SIUE email address and mobile phone number
- Click "Click here to login"
- Enter your e-ID and password information
- Click "Upload ID Photo" under Quick Links on the right
- Click "Browse . . ." to open the Choose File menu
- Select the photo you want to upload
- Click "Upload"
- The picture you chose will be on the right, labeled "Pending ID Photo"
Please submit your photo no later than three days from receipt of this email. We'll need one business day to process your photo. Check your SIUE email account to make sure your photo was accepted. By uploading your photo, you get to choose what is displayed on your Cougar Card.
Cougar ID cards can be picked up now in the Service Center, Rendleman Hall room 1309 from 8-4:30 Monday through Friday. However, from August 18-21, students who submit photos online will pick up the ID card in Lovejoy Library from 10-4:30. Please bring a driver's license, state ID card, or passport to the Finish Line to verify your identity. We strongly encourage uploading your photo and picking up your ID card as soon as possible to avoid long lines, wait times, and congestion.
