Lecture & Book Signing Tuesday, February 14 7:30 PM Meridian Ballroom
Beronda L. Montgomery, PhD, has focused her scholarly efforts on how photosynthetic organisms, plants and bacteria adapt to changes in their external light environment. In this lecture, Montgomery will explore the surprising way plants communicate and collaborate and how we can learn from these organisms. Her work has also led to new perspectives for effective mentoring and leadership. She asks us to consider the question, "What would a plant do?" A book signing will follow the lecture. Montgomery's book, "Lessons from Plants" (2021, Harvard University Press), will be available for purchase. Reserve your free tickets here.
