Please join the LRC for a reading of Jaye Willis's new book, "The Pandemic Prophet: A Soulistic View of the Socioeconomic Guinea Worms of the Modern Minds," which is a poetic and prose praise song to Mr. Reginald Petty. Mr. Petty was one of the first African American Peace Corps Country Directors, appointed by President John F. Kennedy. He was also instrumental in the voter registration efforts in the American South and was a friend to many icons like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Congressman John Lewis, and Malcolm X.
