$1,290 Scholarship - AmeriCorps

Interested in a $1290.00 Service Scholarship? AmeriCorps is looking for students who are dedicated to community service and making a positive impact on their local communities. In one school year, you complete a total of 300 hours of community service (about 10 hours a week). You will have the ability to choose ONE nonprofit location to complete your service hours. Some practicum sites may apply as well!

If you have any questions about the AmeriCorps Scholarship program or would like to make an appointment to discuss this opportunity further, please contact Meredith Bates at mebates@siue.edu.

Leadership Lunches

This workshop series is open to all students and requires no RSVP, though free food is available in limited qualities. Each week, there is a new presenter and different topic. Presenters come from all walks of the SIUE community. Students are encouraged to attend as many or as few as their schedule allows. During the fall semester, Leadership Lunches will be Wednesdays at 12pm in SSC 0200.
